Daniel Bryan challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view championship. The match proceeded immediately after Bryan won the House match.
The match started with Reigns immediately looking for a spear but Bryan countered in the YES lock. Reigns got out and then brutally attacked him. Reigns then locked him in a guillotine choke to retain the title.
Bryan never tapped but the ref called for the bell because he passed out. After the match, Edge threw Reigns, then he pointed at the WrestleMania board, so it’s now official that it was Edge vs. Reigns at WrestleMania 37.
