Main storylines as the Buckeyes head to Big Ten Media Day

COLUMBUS – The Big Ten Media Days are almost here, which means the Ohio State football season is getting closer and closer. Ohio State head coach Ryan Day, defensive end Zach Harrison, left tackle Thayer Munford and wide receiver Chris Olave will travel to Indianapolis later this week and represent the Buckeyes.

The Lettermen Row team is back at Roosters to explain what to expect ahead of the conference media days.

Lettermen Row senior writer Austin Ward is joined by Lettermen Row recruiting director Jeremy Birmingham, former Ohio State quarterback Justin Zwick and former Ohio State linebacker Bobby Carpenter to talk about Big Ten Media Day and more about the athletic world of the Buckeyes.

Big Ten Media Day is scheduled to begin Thursday when conference commissioner Kevin Warren meets with the media to kick off the event. In his first year last fall, Warren had to deal with a season shortened by COVID while developing guidelines for institutions to follow. More recently, a request from the FOIA this spring showed that it had made an accusatory suggestion towards the FPAOS protest against the cancellation of the fall season. Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh will also be on the podium. For the State of Ohio, Big Ten Media Days offers a chance to get an update before fall camp begins.

What’s the latest on the battle for the starting quarterback? Can high school bounce back from disappointing performance in national championship game? And what will the Reloaded Linebacker Hall look like when the season opens?

These are just a few of the questions asked by Big Ten Media Day. Don’t miss this busy episode, and don’t forget to grab Roosters $ 2 appetizers every Tuesday at all Roosters stores.

As always, Lettermen Live is hosted by Roosters on Olentangy River Road in Columbus.
