Samsung has announced its partnership with the British semiconductor company ARM to manufacture the Cortex ARM. -A76 processors using a FinFET process 7 / 5-nanometers (N M) which allows it to be clocked beyond the 3GHz mark.

The partnership will rely on Samsung Foundry's 7nm Low Power Plus 7nm (7LPP) and 5nm Low Power Early (5LPE) processing technologies, the first being the first of two o will be available for initial production in the second half of 2018.
