KUALA LUMPUR: Former Prime Minister Najib Razak today settled the remaining RM 500,000 bail set by the High Court after being charged with four counts of breach of trust and Abuse of power last week.

Najib also thanked the members and sympathizers of Umno launched by Wanita Umno.

"The funds were brought by sincerity." Najib, who arrived at the court complex accompanied by his wife Rosmah Mansor

Najib's daughter, Nooryana, and his son Norashman, who were the bailers, were also present, but they were not willing to pay.

Meanwhile, Lokman Noor Adam, a member of the Supreme Council of Umno, said that they had collected enough money to help Najib pay his bail.

As of yesterday, about RM 261 000 was collected.

Najib has sought the trial of three charges of CBT and one for abuse of power related to the transfer of RM 42 million on his personal bank account of SRC International, formerly a subsidiary of the troubled state firm 1MDB.
