If you're waiting for a mid-range Android smartphone with notched display, you'll probably want to wait a bit longer as HMD Global prepares the Nokia X6 for a global version. The upcoming global variant will be Nokia 6.1 Plus and is expected to hit the market on July 19th.

From what we know up to now, the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Nokia X6 should be similar in terms of specifications. Geekbench confirms it. The Nokia X6 is available in three 4GB and 6GB RAM / 32GB variants, as well as 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

This version of the Nokia 6.1 Plus that just appeared at Geekbench contains 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 8.1 .0 Oreo, unlike the Nokia X6 model that manages a custom user interface for the Chinese market.

The list of partial specifications also confirms that the global version will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. We hope that the Nokia 6.1 Plus will be released on July 19 according to rumors, but it will probably take some time before It does not reach global availability.
