Synergy Promenade files 100 RM complaint against former MP Muar

Real estate developer Synergy Promenade Sdn Bhd (SPSB) filed a 100 million RM defamation suit against former MP Muar Razali Ibrahim

SPSB as a plaintiff in the Kuala Lumpur High Court yesterday through the intermediary of MM. Reza Rahim & Rajivan, citing Razali as defendant, about his statements about the company's involvement in the Kuala Lumpur Vertical City (KLVC) project, to Jalan Semarak

The company asserted that the statements made by Razali were false and unfounded.

According to the SPSB, the company had already filed a notice requiring the defendant to excuse but he did not do so.

The company claims RM 100 million in damages and an apology as well as an injunction to prevent Razali from repeating and / or publishing defamatory statements.

Razali is the second Umno character sued by SPSB.

Last month, the company filed a complaint of 100 million RM lawsuit against the former president of Felda Shahrir Samad .
