TOKYO, July 18 – The latest Honda Civic Type R is without a doubt a truly affordable performance car his appearance certainly is not not for everyone. Although many people around the world can appreciate how a Type R behaves, some may be put off by its exaggerated style.

But it seems now that Honda has had the memo as a couple of Type R models we've seen test it with a style that seems to have been toned down a bit.

Although the last Type R was only launched last year, some light camouflage versions were tested at the Nurburgring. There was a red one with a new smaller rear wing and a white one that tried but could not hide subtle improvements in the bodywork.

The white car still has the giant rear wing that is so polarizing for many potential buyers. it is possible to spot a number of other subtle adjustments to the style. The main changes at the front are some inferior outer grilles, both of which have a new plastic divider in it.

It is unclear if this feature is functional or aesthetic, but they seem to have the appearance of 39 shelter a kind of light, but that seems unlikely the current round fog lights remain on the spot.

Large false openings also appear at the back of the car, and these also have plastic separations. As the changes seem to be relatively minor overall, it would not be a shock to see them implemented on the production car in the near future.

There is also the possibility that Honda is trying out ideas for Special Edition Type R models, in which case it might be a while before they arrive on the market.

Honda has not hidden from wanting to appeal to a broader and younger demographic than in the past, but he may be a little too far off with the current style of Type R.

If Honda moves a bit with the style of the Type R, this will only increase the appeal of the model, but anyone who hopes for something as subtle as the VW Golf. R risk being disappointed. – AFP-Relaxnews
