Instagram is trying a new feature that will allow users to delete subscribers.
A company spokesman confirmed to The Verge that Instagram is currently testing the tool.
Previously, users could only delete subscribers if they made their profile private. Otherwise, they could block specific accounts.

The feature comes as Instagram has rolled out other features aimed at allowing users to control their experience on the app.
In May, Instagram launched a mute button that lets you ignore people without disturbing them.
This feature allows you to delete people's posts from your news feed without the risk of discovering them.
To disable someone's account, press the menu button in the corner of one of his posts. From there, select "Mute" to prevent their photos from appearing in your news feed – the user will not be notified that you have muted them.
