Zahid denies link to Nepali workers scam

Kuala Lumpur: Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Monday denied any links to Bestinet Sdn Bhd, which reportedly carried out dubious workers recruitment from Nepal, and that was ready to be investigated.
The former Deputy Prime Minister said the company did not belong to any of its members.
"I am prepared to face the investigation," he told reporters at the Parliament lobby here.
The Umno president, Amin Abdul Nor, who was alleged to be involved in the Nepali workers scam.
Commenting further, Ahmad Zahid, who is also a Home Minister, Amin Abdul Nor as claimed.
"Amin is a Bangladeshi I do not have a brother-in-law by the name of Amin.
I understand the company had started business before I joined the Ministry of Home Affairs," he said.
