Xiaomi Mi A2, which is scheduled to launch in India on August 8, will be an exclusive smartphone to Amazon. The online market launches a page of hook for the smartphone confirming the launch date. The smartphone is also likely to be available via Xiaomi's own Mi.com site. Meanwhile, the Amazon India page also highlights some of the strong points of the Xiaomi Mi A2, including cameras, processor and Android One certification.
As a reminder, Gadgets 360 had previously announced that Xiaomi would not launch the 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant of the Mi A2 in India. While Xiaomi defines the storage variant of 4GB of RAM and 64GB as the base model for the Indian market, discussions are continuing to find out if the 6GB RAM and 128GB option should also be launched in the country. The Indian market will also see an additional color option – launch of Rose Gold, up from the three – Gold, Black and Blue – announced at the global launch.
