Mazlan Aliman is the new Farmers' Organization

PUTRAJAYA (Oct 19): National Felda Settlers 'Children Association (Anak) President Mazlan Aliman was appointed to the new chairman of the Farmers' Organization Authority (FOA).

The instrument of appointment for the Amanah Nasional Committee was presented by Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Salahuddin Ayub, here today.

Permitang Pasir State Assemblyman Muhammad Faiz Fadzil as chairman of the Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia and the managing director of IM Global Ishak Ismail as chairman of the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA).

At a media conference, Salahuddin said the duration of appointment for the three individuals would be from Nov 1 until Oct 31, 2020.

He said he was confident that the appointment of the three individuals, which had received the agreement of Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, could boost the role and services of the three major agencies.
