KUALA LUMPUR: A motorcyclist was injured after a car spilled after an unsuccessful passing attempt along Jalan Pahang here today.
ACP Zulkefly Yahya, head of the city's police and highway investigations, said the motorcyclist had been injured as a result of the collision.
"Preliminary investigations showed that the driver tried to overtake the victim along Jalan Pahang, but the car was moving too close, resulting in a collision.
"The victim was injured knee, hand and leg," he said today.
Zulkefly added that a report had been filed by the victim after his treatment at the hospital.
We learn that the police also recorded the statements of the driver of the car.
The case is currently under investigation under section 43 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and reckless conduct.
