With the recent announcement of Realme‘s entry to the Malaysia market, the company just did the next big step of having an online store platform and they have signed an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shopee Malaysia. The new partnership grants Shopee the exclusive rights to Realme’s flagship phone, the Realme 2 Pro, in Malaysia and other upcoming devices in the future.
Both Calvin Teng, Category Manager at Shopee Malaysia, and Tiffany Teh, Brand Manager of Realme Malaysia are excited to work with each other for having similar core values of being young (in company years) and committed to offering the best quality and service to their customers. In fact, Realme will also jump on the bandwagon during the Shopee 11.11 Big Sale as well, with the Realme 2 Pro but it’s unknown if there will be any exclusive discounts and free voucher codes given. The official price will be revealed on 7 November 2018.
To recap, the Realme 2 Pro features a huge 6.3-inch dewdrop fullscreen display, a respectable Qualcomm Snapdragon 660AIE processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB ROM and more. If we do a direct conversion from the Indonesia pricing, it would cost around ~RM1019 and that’s really a valued for money smartphone there.
