With the end of Daylight Saving Time for Toyota Shortcuts, Toyota celebrates the opportunity by revealing the Nightshade Special Edition for the SE trim of both 2019 Camry and 2019 Highlander models. The models will make their debut at the upcoming 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, and will be available for purchase in 2019.
The Nightshade Special Edition for the 2019 Toyota Camry SE adds black 18-inch wheels and a black rear spoiler, as well as other black accents, such as window moldings, side mirror caps, shark-fin antenna, door handles, and various pieces of exterior badging. The package will be available for Camry SE models with Midnight Black Metallic, Celestial Silver, Gold Super White exterior paint color.

Meanwhile, the 2019 Toyota Highlander Nightshade SE Special Edition receives various black elements, with black headlight and foglight housings, a black rear hatch spoiler, shark end antenna, exterior door handles, and side mirror caps. The package also adds black 19-inch wheels and lug nuts in – you guessed it – a black finish. Midland Black Metallic, Predawn Gray Mica, Red Pearl Salsa, and Blizzard Pearl exterior paint colors.
The news of the Camry and Highlander Nightshade Special Editions arrive shortly after the announcement of the same package for the 2019 Toyota 4Runner SUV's Limited trim. At the time of this release, Toyota had not announced pricing for either Nightshade Edition model. The Highlander Nightshade Edition is the first of these two models to arrive at dealerships, with 5,000 examples going on sale in January 2019, while the automaker is still working out Camry's release date and production volume.
