Rafizi Ramli tells his team not to let down.

PETALING JAYA: Rafizi Ramli claimed that various problems related to the Sabah elections had cost him 3,000 votes ahead of his rival Mohamed Azmin Ali, after he had preceded him in the race for the presidency. vice president.

According to the former Pandan MP, these problems include poor internet connectivity, the lack of printers providing QR codes for voters and a polling center unable to accommodate voters.

Rafizi said it was estimated that the divisions of Pensiangan and Keningau would have given him a margin of more than 3,000.

"Only if the process went smoothly and had not been sabotaged by various problems," he said in a message posted on Facebook today.

He then urged the PKR Election Committee (JPP) to immediately announce the results of the Tawau, Keningau and Pensiangan Divisions.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Azmin was leading the former secretary general of PKR with 1,611 votes based on official results in 22 of Sabah's 25 divisions.

The results, which were posted on the party's website, have Azmin with 9,325 votes against 7,714 votes from Rafizi.

But the three divisions still have to post their results.

However, Tawau's unofficial results showed that Azmin was ahead of Rafizi by about 500 votes.

Despite discussions that his team had lost in Sabah, Rafizi urged them not to feel discouraged.

He reminded them that the results in Keningau and Pensiangan have not yet been determined.

He was also confident that Sarawak members would help him narrow the gap with Azmin, who defends his position as vice president.
