"Doctors suspect that the injury was initially caused last year when Angela's car crashed five times on the highway in an imminent death accident. If it was up to her to decide, she would still be competing this week, even if it meant walking in the cage with crutches. In fact, she always insists on competition.
"However, safety is ONE's number one priority. On a personal level, I really care about the long-term health of our athletes and I will never put our athletes in compromising situations. "
Lee explained the circumstances of his injury in a message posted on his Instagram account and apologized to his Chinese rival and his fans who were looking forward to the fight.
