A woman in a frozen baby murder case was fired another week

GOMBAK, July 10 – A babysitter suspected of having murdered Adam Rayqal Mohd Sufi Naeif, five months old, and putting him inside a freezer was sent back a week later to facilitate investigations.

Until July 17, Magistrate Nurul Izzah Hasan Bari granted his appearance at the Selayang Magistrate's Court today.

The 33-year-old woman was dressed in an orange outfit upon her arrival at the court complex around 8:50 am. The woman was arrested with her 36-year-old roommate on July 4 for an investigation into the death of Adam Rayqal in Kampung Nakhoda, Batu Caves

Selangor police chief, Datuk Pahlawan Mazlan Mansor, had stated that the investigation was 90% ready and that it would be completed as soon as possible and should be handed over to the prosecutor this week.

Mazlan also said The roommate would be released from pre-trial detention while the inquiries were focused on the babysitter.

Adam Rayqal would have been kidnapped first. The babysitter had claimed that the baby had been taken away by a man whom she believed to be the baby's father.

The investigations led to the baby's body in the fridge at Kampung Nakhoda's house around 11 pm on July 3rd.

-Mortem at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital revealed that Adam Rayqal had died due to a head injury caused by blunt trauma.
