Asean Raptor vs. American Raptor: Who packs more punch?

[ad_1]

Does the mighty American F-150 Raptor or the more modest Asean Ranger Raptor pack more punch? You decide.

Compared to the American F-150 Raptor designed and sold, the specifications of the Asean Ranger Raptor may seem modest. But think again.

A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine drives this venomous truck from Asean

Charged by two turbochargers, the Asean Raptor develops 213 hp and drives 500 Newton on the crankshaft

-150 draws 457hp of a 3.5 liter V6 biturbo that burns gasoline, not diesel as in the Asean Raptor.

As with the F-150, the Ranger Raptor's 10-speed automatic transmission distributes all four wheels. 285/70 R17 off-road tires come into contact with the ground.

They should be mostly rough. With pick-ups and especially with Raptors, performance is mainly measured off-road.

Four of the Ranger Raptor's six driving modes are for off-road use. There is a profile for grass, gravel and snow, one for mud and sand, one for rocks and a so-called "Baja" mode

This optimizes the Raptor Ranger, simply, for the desert rallies. For the road, Ford offers a sport mode in addition to the standard driving program "comfort, fuel economy and driving pleasure". Responsiveness and change strategy should support a more sporty driving style.
