That's the view of Genoa star, and Chelsea transfer target, Krzysztof Piatek.
Genoa take on Ronaldo's Juventus side tomorrow (5pm) with the Old Lady looking to make it nine Serie A wins from nine.
It comes in Ronaldo's first season in Italy with the Portuguese star having joined Juve from Real Madrid in the summer.
He arrived in Turin having helped Los Blancos to their third consecutive Champions League title thanks to victory over Liverpool.
Ronaldo, 33, has five Ballon d'Ors to his name and is among the favorites to lift the crown again this year.
And forward Piatek believes Ronaldo is the best player to ever step foot onto a football pitch.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now," Piatek said.
Ronaldo has had an ongoing rivalry with Barcelona ace Lionel Messi, 31.
The Argentinian has also won five Ballon d'Ors with many problems.
Their stats are very similar to both hugely successful in club football.
And Ronaldo's Juventus team-mate Paulo Dybala is surprised at the longevity of the pair.
"Messi and Ronaldo should be getting worse, but they are still doing extraordinary things," Dybala said.
"They are not normal.
"My objective is to be the best of the humans."
