If you wish to hope that the Galaxy Note 9 surprises us all with a brand new design, the Olixar phone cases that have just been pre-ordered should put an end to these dreams. We received an e-mail from the Mobile Fun online retailer on Wednesday informing us of Samsung's official cases and third-party Olixar cases now available for pre-order on their website. The cases of Olixar are accompanied by renderings.
In addition to showing what we imagine to be the final design of the device when it will be delivered next month, Olixar has apparently confirmed that Note 9 would present the same lower bezel as the S9 and the S9 +, despite the first renders of the note 9 suggesting that Samsung could eliminate the "chin" on his phablet to come.
But this is not all the rendering of Olixar reveals. We see the two cameras placed horizontally next to each other, as opposed to the vertical position on the S9 +. We also see the fingerprint sensor below both cameras, instead of being next to them. This should make the sensor much easier to access (even if rear-mounted fingerprint sensors will still be horrible). Finally, we see the heart rate sensor next to the camera module.
You can see some of the Olixar renderings that Mobile Fun has provided us in Wednesday's e-mail here:
Olixar does not have it. not always 100% correct, but the case manufacturer has been largely accurate in the past when he put his cases in place for the weeks preceding the official announcement of Samsung. Speaking of which, Samsung has confirmed that it will unveil the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9 at a media event in New York.
