This week, NVIDIA launched its new set of games "The Hunt Begins", adding Monster Hunter: World with eligible purchases of GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, GTX 1070 and GTX 1060 6GB (1280 core). The promotion is effective from November 29th. It seems that this covers the usual AIB graphics cards, the details are rather clear in relation to the terms and conditions, so any potential buyer should make sure to check the seller / retailer.
For Monster Hunter: World, NVIDIA recommends the GTX 1070 for high quality 1080p 60fps resolution. The kit is therefore clearly intended for consumer-type resolutions and game scenarios.
No other NVIDIA bundle is currently running, which is not surprising considering the recent launch of the RTX 20 series. While the promotion clearly covers the upper middle range from Pascal GeForce, the GeForce RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti are the expected successor for the range of amateurs. Especially with the RTX 2070 in the GTX 1080 performance support, NVIDIA will not try to encourage cannibalization via GTX 1080 (Ti) sales on RTX cards. Whatever the case may be, Pascal, NVIDIA will be looking to empty its latest generation inventory channel. It remains to be seen how NVIDIA will continue the mainstream and entry-level levels, whether with Turing as we know it now or with another approach.

Another note concerns the revision of the GTX 1060 6 GB models to include the GDDR5X memory, although clocked in the same way as the original GDDR5. Providing the same amount of memory bandwidth, the logic points to a supply / inventory reason rather than a performance refresh.
Codes must be redeemed through the NVIDIA Redemption Portal on a computer with a qualified graphics card installed. More information and details can be found in the terms and conditions. Be sure to check the participation of all vendors purchased from NVIDIA as no code will be assigned to purchases from non-participating vendors.
