Huawei Nova 3i, will soon launch another variant of the Nova 3. Earlier this week, the Chinese manufacturer launched the Nova 3 in China as the latest model in the Nova series. But now, the company also plans to launch a Nova 3i model with slightly different specifications. Interestingly, a new leak suggests that the Nova 3i processor will be a brand new Kirin 710 SoC, instead of the SoC Kirin 970 present in the Nova 3. In addition, another report claimed separately that the Nova 3i will be launched in the Philippines later this month.
The images leaked by a tipster on the Chinese Weibo microblogging site, present a comparison of Nova 3 and Nova 3i specifications. Both smartphones seem to have a similar design – the notch display, dual camera configuration on both sides, and the fingerprint scanner located at the back. As mentioned, the difference lies in the processor, as the Nova 3i will be powered by the SoC Kirin 710, perhaps a midrange processor in the HiSilicon portfolio.
According to the leak, the Huawei Nova 3i will stick to the same selfie camera configuration with a primary sensor of 24 megapixels and a secondary sensor of 2 megapixels. However, the configuration of the rear camera will include 16 megapixel and 2 megapixel sensors. For comparison, the Nova 3 comes with a combo of 16 megapixels and 24 megapixels. In addition, the Nova 3i battery should also be a little smaller – 3340 mAh with a steady load of 5V / 2A, instead of 3750mAh in Nova 3.
The leak also suggests that the Huawei Nova 3i will arrive in two variants – 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is a strange configuration. In terms of price, the prognosticator also claimed that the price of Nova 3i could range from 1,999 CNY (about 20,600 rupees) to 2,199 CNY (about 22,600 rupees)
Meanwhile, according to a report in Yugatech, a post in an unofficial Facebook community group for Huawei and Honor PH shows an image that suggests the Huawei Nova 3i will launch in the Philippines on July 28th. An advertisement for the new smartphone was spotted in the Glorietta Mall in the capital city of Manila, under the headline "Coming Soon" with the July 28 date stamped on the ad.
