The Huawei P20 Pro entered the smartphone market earlier this year and immediately distinguished it from its competitors.
Indeed, the hardware did not only include a multitude of flagship specifications, but it also proposed a unique three-camera system for users.
The Huawei P20 Pro came with a 40-megapixel main, a 20-megapixel monochrome and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor.
The trio has combined to offer incredible shots, even in low light conditions.
In fact, the Huawei P20 Pro arrived with a dedicated night mode on such occasions.
For the function to be operational, the user had to hold the camera still for a few seconds, while the P20 Pro software produced a much brighter image that still retained a glorious amount of detail.
While the mode worked incredibly well, it seems that the OnePlus 6T is about to challenge the P20 Pro drastically.
OnePlus 6T will be announced by the Chinese firm tomorrow, Monday October 29, and should set up its own night mode.
Last week, TrueTech insisted that an "official representative of OnePlus" had confirmed at the point of sale that such a feature would be available.
The publication explained this feature "would bring convenience for low-light or night-time photo capture".
And now, it appears that the first images showing the power of such a feature have been released with the permission of OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau.
The boss recently went to Weibo and released a nocturnal image of the city of Shenzhen with what is presumed to be the future OnePlus 6T.
The attached photo appears to be an attempt by the CEO to show the upcoming OnePlus 6T night mode.
The Chinese technology giant has strongly hinted that such a feature would be posted on Twitter page.
A video was recently posted to the account with the caption "Are you ready for sharper and more detailed captures in low light?"
If the OnePlus 6T is able to capture plans similar to those of Pete Lau, it could launch a radical challenge to one of the best features of the P20 Pro's camera.
Although it seems extremely likely that the OnePlus 6T has a night mode, nothing has been officially confirmed by the Shenzhen-based manufacturer.
But everything related to the camera will surely be detailed when the OnePlus comes on the scene tomorrow, Monday, October 29th.
Express.co.uk will cover the live debates.
