Huawei’s supersize Mate 20 X to debut in Malaysia on Nov 11 – Tech News

Huawei Mate 20 X with a 7.2in display is coming to Malaysia on Nov 11.

Featuring a FHD+ 2,244 x 1,080 resolution display, the Mate 20 X runs on Android 9 and is powered by the all-new Kirin 980 processor. The device comes with 6GB of RAM with 128GB internal space. There is a NM (nano memory) card slot for expandable space up to 256GB. NM cards are sold separately and are priced at RM298 for 128GB.

The device also has a triple Leica rear camera setup. There’s a 40-megapixel lens for wide angle shots with aperture f/1.8, 20-megapixel for ultra wide angle with aperture f/2.2 and 8-megapixel telephoto lens with aperture f/2.4. The camera feature supports auto focus, laser focus, phase focus, contrast focus with AI image stabilisation.

For the front camera, there is a 24-megapixel lens with aperture f/2.0. Battery capacity comes in at 5,000mAh. 

With every purchase of the Mate 20 X, customers will receive an M-Pen stylus, a phone case and a wireless keyboard worth RM199. However, the keyboard is only redeemable via the Huawei VIP app with terms and conditions apply. The keyboard is also available on first come, first serve basis.

New Mate 20 X users will also become a Mate 20 VIP member. The VIP access give members a chance to enjoy rewards worth up to RM10,000 from partners such as Malaysia Airlines, Auto Bavaria, Club 21 and Maxis. To complete the Huawei Mate 20 VIP member registration process; scan a QR code at any Huawei retail store and download the Huawei VIP app from AppGallery or Google Play Store.

The device will be available at Huawei experience stores and the official e-commerce site Shop.Huawei for RM3,199. Customers can choose from the colours Midnight Blue and Phantom Silver.
