Looking to the future
Strong pressure north of the Hawaiian Islands will continue to produce moderate trade winds in the region this week and week-end next. Scattered clouds and showers will tend to favor wind and mauka areas with isolated showers in some lee spots. A trough passing south of the state on Wednesday will produce increased showers along the windward slopes of the Big Island and Maui. Otherwise, a cycle of drier trade winds will prevail until Saturday.
