Ayer Hitam, MCA MP, Datuk Seri Dr. Wee Ka Siong asked how the government could confirm the total cost of the high-speed train (TGV) to RM110bil when calling from 39; International offers is still in progress.

" Azmin had explained that there were additional costs, but we want to know what he meant by that ", he said.
"Even if you take into consideration the interest costs and the financial packages, you will still need the details before you can estimate the cost.
"This means that for any government, they must have scientific studies to justify their statements," he added.
Dr. Wee had previously asked the question to Azmin during Question Time, during which time the minister was claiming "hidden costs" that the then-Barisan Nasional government did not disclose.
Dr. Wee also said he was shocked by a statement by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng that the government could halve the cost of building the HSR at 350 km.
