The International France Under-21s La Liga for an amount of 15 million euros.
Seville signed the contract with France's under-21 international defender Joris Gnagnon of Rennes
Gnagnon signed a five-year contract with La Liga for a total of 15 million euros.
The defender made the trip to Rennes at the youth level in 2014, making his first team debut in 2016.
Next season sees Gnagnon make 27 appearances, all starts, in Ligue 1 for the Breton club, scoring its first goal of the senior team in the process.
The 21-year-old added two more goals last season for Rennes, while he played in 36 league games, starting 32.
His campaign earned him a call to youth of France, and he would make four appearances for them.
Previously, Gnagnon – who is of Ivorian origin – had already chosen to play for Ivory Coast, but has never made an appearance for the country.
With Clément Lenglet leaving Barcelona earlier this summer, Gnagnon will probably be among those responsible for filling his shoes.
