Ling, who had called for Malanjum to be appointed Chief Justice, commended him for setting up an electronic filing and videoconferencing system in Sabah and Sarawak.
"Once again, I want to send him my heartfelt congratulations in his immediate efforts as a new CJ as expectations are really high on him but I have full confidence and faith in him."
