► Looking menacing too

Fancy a BMW M5 with a lot more power? It's not as he needed it, but Manhart Performance based in Germany created a monster.

The new MH5 700 is based on the latest generation F90 M5 and uses the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, but Manhart has added its own ECU that's dubbed MHtronik. The tuner says that the power of the V8 has been increased to 710bhp – equal to that of a McLaren 720S – and 642lb ft. Crazy numbers.

There is no time 0-62mph quoted, but it will naturally be faster than the sprint time already stonking from a standard M5 – 3.4 seconds. What Manhart says, however, is that the acceleration from 62mph to 124mph is over with 5.9 seconds.

Coil coilover lowered by 20mm, like the Manhart 21 inch Concave One 'alloys. This and the more extreme bodykit – that's the most obvious difference, including a spoiler that was taken from Manhart's modified X6, a carbon front diffuser and a carbon hood.

To top it off, there is a stainless steel exhaust system that "screams out like there is no tomorrow".
