PETALING JAYA: Sources reveal that former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will be charged with criminal breach of trust.
The offense is defined in article 409 of the Penal Code, which reads as follows:
409. Whoever, being in some way entrusted with property, or with any kind of domination on the property, as an officer or agent, commits a criminal breach of trust with respect to such property, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not more than two years and not more than twenty years and be whipped, and also be liable for a fine.
MACC announced that it will be indicted at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex on Wednesday morning following its trial. The MACC, however, has not clarified the charges it will face, but it has learned that there was investigation into SRC International.
