NBC5 Forecast: The hottest weather up here this summer | weather

[ad_1]

As scattered thunderstorms erupted on Sunday afternoon, they all stayed north and west of DFW, and dissipated at sunset. But there was no rain in the Metroplex, where the DFW airport hit 101, the hottest day up here this summer. DFW will remain hot and torrid for the next few days with temperatures reaching 100 or more on Monday and Tuesday.

There may be scattered showers or thunderstorms moving again in the area by July 4th. At the present time, it seems that the greatest chance of rain will be south and east of DFW, and local fireworks should come off unscathed.

While the flow to the east continues, the chances are minimal. ] Last video preview
