Nikon is making a splash with its new Coolpix P1000, a superzoom bridge camera with a 125x optical zoom lens. It will be available in early September 2018 at a price of € 1,099 (RM5,177).

To show the extreme prowess of the camera, Nikon shared several awesome videos showing lunar landscapes and close-ups of wild animals. Indeed, the lens of the camera is to bring the subjects out of reach.

The Coolpix P1000 combines its relatively small 16 megapixel sensor with the world's largest focal length range of 24-3000 mm. The zoom can be expanded digitally up to 250 times thanks to Nikon's Dynamic Fine Zoom system. The Japanese manufacturer says that with this technology, users can take pictures of the craters of the moon.

The camera has a shooting mode in RAW format, ensuring compression without loss of quality. The Nikon Coolpix P1000 can also shoot videos in ultra-high definition, even with maximum zoom. No matter what you're shooting, Nikon promises stable images thanks to its dual-sensing optical vibration reduction system, which automatically corrects the slightest movements of the camera to stabilize shots.

This unusual camera promises to be the stars of the season when it lands in September.
