After its global launch yesterday, the OnePlus 6T is set to be unveiled in India tonight. We already know what to expect in terms of specifications and features, while tonight’s launch will go into more detail on India pricing, availability and launch offers. The OnePlus 6T is the successor to the OnePlus 6 that was launched in May this year, and will replace the previous device as the current product from the company.
In terms of specifications, the OnePlus 6T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, and comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The base variant of the OnePlus 6T sees a bump up to 128GB of internal storage, while sticking to 6GB of RAM. The phone is one of the earliest devices to launch with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
The key changes on the phone include an increase in battery capacity to 3,700mAh, a new in-display fingerprint sensor at the front, a smaller ‘waterdrop’ style notch and a slightly larger 6.41-inch AMOLED screen. And while the OnePlus 6T sticks to the same camera setup at the front and rear, a new mode called ‘Nightscape’ allows the phone to take improved low-light shots.
