PKR POLLS | PKR deputy presidential candidate Rafizi Ramli claims to lead the race against the incumbent Azmin Ali after a major victory in Perak.

In a blog entry, he said that he had bagged 6,700 votes in the state, against 4,359 votes for Azmin.

Asked for a vote in the Kedah, he now has a 995 vote lead against Azmin overall.

Malaysiakini is unable to independently verify Rafizi's claim as of writing, as a result of Perak and phase two of voting in Kedah have yet to be fully released.

Rafizi's tally also includes votes from Negeri Sembilan and five of six Malacca divisions.

The results from these two states are in contention as 2,000 votes are missing due to technical errors.

There is a possibility of partial or full re-elections in both states.

The PKR election continues tomorrow with the third and final phase of voting in Selangor.
