Realme 2, 2 Pro and Realme C1 Launched in Malaysia, to Go on Sale With Special Launch Offers

Realme, which started off as an online-only brand focused on the Indian market, made its foray into the Indonesian smartphone market last month by launching the Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro smartphones there. The company has now launched three of its latest smartphones in neighboring Malaysia. Realme will be selling the Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, and Realme C1 smartphones through its online store in the country. Just like in India, Realme has priced all three smartphones competitively in Malaysia as well, which should help make them at least somewhat popular among consumers in the multi-ethnic country.

The entry-level Realme C1 has been priced at RM 449 in Malaysia, which converts to INR 7,800 approximately. Apart from the official Realme online store in Shopee Malaysia, the three Realme smartphones will also be available on Lazada Malaysia with some special offers. It runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, paired with up to 4GB of RAM. Moving on to optics, the Realme 2 comes with a 13MP + 2 MP dual-camera setup at the rear and an 8MP snapper on the front. One of its main selling points is the large 4230mAh capacity non-removable battery, which delivers impressive stamina.

Realme 2 Pro is the company’s most expensive smartphone so far. It features a 6.3-inch Dewdrop notch display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Realme 2 Pro runs on a 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, which gives it an edge over most other budget Android smartphones. Realme’s most affordable smartphone is the C1, which shares quite a few key features in common with the Realme 2.
