Riza Aziz returns for the fourth round of questions at MACC HQ – Nation

PUTRAJAYA: The film producer Riza Aziz (photo) arrived at the headquarters of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for its fourth day of consecutive interrogation on the 1Malaysia Development Board scandal (1MDB).

The son-in-law of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived here around 9:45 am on Friday (July 6) and will again be scolded over allegations that 1MDB funds were used to fund films that his company produced

. he has been subjected to a total of 22 hours of interrogation by registry breakers since he was summoned by MACC to register his statement on Tuesday, July 3.

On Wednesday (July 4), Najib was charged with three counts of criminal charges. breach of trust and a use leader of his position for gratification in connection with a survey of money lacking state funds 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB). He pleaded not guilty to all charges

The charges are related to the RM42mil allegedly transferred from SRC International, a former unit of 1MDB, into Najib's personal bank accounts.
