KABIN KINABALU: A source in Sabah PKR has claimed that one of the candidates for the divisional elections in the west coast has two identities.

The source said the 57-year-old man holds two different MyKads, although it is not clear.

"One of the names shows that he has been declared bankrupt in 2010. However, he has one other 'clean' MyKad which allows him to be nominated as a candidate in the upcoming party election," it said.

It is believed to be a complaint against the individual to the PKR election committee, accompanied by a letter from the National Registration Department (NRD).

The man is believed to be a non-governmental organization that aims to assist stateless people in Sabah.

A report is also filed with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

PKR members were arrested in Kimanis last night, including a candidate for the Kimanis PKR chairman.

More than 140,000 of Sabah PKR members will vote on Nov 3 and 4 to choose leaders in 26 divisions, Mohamed Azmin Ali and Rafizi Ramli for the deputy president's post.
