Sadio Mane has declared himself fit for Liverpool's Champions League with Red Star Belgrade after recovering from surgery on his hand.
The winger was forced to go under the knife after injuring his thumb while training with his teammates during last week's international break.
And he was unable to play in the Reds' squad as they earned a 1-0 Premier League win at Huddersfield Town on Saturday as a result.
However, they will be ready to go back to Jurgen Klopp's second round of the season at Anfield on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old is likely to be reunited with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in a familiar way, with the latter having been relegated to the bench for West Yorkshire.
Klopp still faces Jordan Henderson, who was withdrawn at half-time at the John Smith's Stadium after feeling tightness in his hamstring.
The club captain will be given every opportunity to get his fitness, with the Reds set to train at Melwood on Tuesday and take part in a light session on Wednesday morning.
Henderson's chances of appearing stronger than Naby Keita's, however, with the Guinean battling a more severe hamstring issue of his own picked up on international duty.
Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to return to the starting point of his career at Joe Gomez for the games against Manchester City and Huddersfield.
