Honda has certainly made some drastic changes to its Civic Si Coupé model, including removing the naturally aspirated engine from the four-cylinder turbocharged engine, but will that be enough to face the Volkswagen GTi? Autobahn
The Honda Civic Si 2018 will be delivered with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will deliver approximately 205 hp and will deliver approximately 8.4 liters / 100km in the city and 6.2 liters / 100km on the highway.
The Volkswagen GTi Autobahn, on the other hand, will come with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that will be equipped with a six-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission. The engine will deliver around 220 hp and will have a fuel economy of 9.6 liters / 100km in the city and 7.2 liters / 100km on the highway.
In terms of design, the Honda Civic Si Coupe is definitely the winner here and if we also take into consideration the price and all the new technology, the Civic Si Coupe could have the advantage here. What do you think?
