CAPE TOWN – Snapchat is down for a second time this month, according to a report and a number of Twitter users.
The application went out of business last week when it crashed for a few hours.
Hundreds of users took on Twitter to voice their complaints about the failures of the application.
Down Detector, a breakdown tracker that monitors social mentions on specific topics has detected the problem in a number of European states first.
Snapchat is apparently down in the UK, France and Belgium.
That's what some users had to say on Twitter.
Snapchat down? better go straight to twitter just to make sure it's not just me … as every time it happens
– leyla (@sighhleyla) July 17, 2018 [19659009] Some users just needed to check and use Twitter to see if Snap was really low again.
Always come directly to Twitter to make sure my Snapchat is not the only one that is broken ?

A user could not hide his frustration with Snapchat.

This is not the first time that users have been unhappy with the application of social media.
In May, it was reported that Snapchat was testing non-inflatable six-second ads in its Snapchat Shows.
These ads will not be displayed in the Snapchat Discover section or in users' personal stories. Instead, it will be tested in selected Snapchat programs.
The application would have had 173 million users last year compared to the 700 million Instagram users.
The test was expected to be deployed on May 15th.
Snap Chat users took Twitter to express their irritation, even going so far as to say that they hate Snapchat, while other users have said that they hope that Snapchat could stop showing them these "cringey music ads" and that they can not literally support Snapchat.
