Sourabh, eighth seeded, who qualified for the Asian Games after recovering from his injuries, beat Israel's third head Misha Zilberman 21-14, 21- 16 in 36 minutes.
Mithun also expelled Satheishtharan Ramachandran of Malaysia 21-18, 21-12 in another quarterfinal. It will be an all-Indian semifinal while Mithun take on Saturday's Sourabh.
Rohan Kapoor and Kuhoo Garg, the second-seeded Indian, also advanced to the semi-finals after sweeping local hopes Andrej Loginov and Liliia Abibulaeva 21-13, 21-9.
They will face the Malaysian combo of Chen Tang Jie and Yen Wei Peck tomorrow. The Malaysian combo defeated Saurabh Sharma and Anoushka Parikh, second-seeded Indian, 21-15, 21-8 in less than 30 minutes.
It was also the end of the road for former national champion Rituparna Das, who lost 17-21, 13-21 against American Iris Wang.
