A Delhi court will consider Friday the indictment against the former son of Union Minister P Chidambaram, Karti, in the Aircel-Maxis case of money laundering of money deposited by the Directorate of Enforcement.
The court, which was to take the case into consideration today, posted it while the judge concerned was on leave.
In his prosecution complaint, equivalent to the indictment, the DG alleged that Mr. Karti controlled two companies The name of P Chidambaram, who was also recently interviewed by the CBI and the ED in the INX media and the Aircel-Maxis money laundering cases respectively, was mentioned in the prosecution paper, the congressional veteran has not been classified as an accused in the probe report.

The ED had registered the case under the articles of PMLA on February 7, 2012 on the basis of a FIR registered by the CBI.
