The Department of Transport may make the Star Rating Program mandatory for all buses – Nation

KUALA LUMPUR: All buses in the country can be submitted to the Safety Star Grading Program (SSG) in order to improve safety and efficiency.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the program was underway.

"As the program is (currently) conducted on a voluntary basis, the low number of participants is not surprising."
