KUALA LUMPUR: The government should simplify the process of hiring foreign workers to alleviate the severe shortage of labor in local restaurants, said the Malaysian Association of Indian Restaurateurs ( Primas)

"We receive 10 to 15 calls a day from members who complain and ask how to get the # 39; s approval.
"Currently, the majority of our members face a labor shortage of 40 to 50 percent," he added.
The chairman of the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF), Tan Sri Azman Shah Haron, said that set labor policies to avoid confusion.
