The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been the star of many leaks recently, and the latest one is a reference list that offers clues to its specifications.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is an awesome power, but its successor should be even more so. As anticipation accumulates, leaks and rumors try to get an idea of what to expect.
The last leak now comes from a reference list spotted in the Geekbench database, a benchmarking tool
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on Geekbench
The reference list in question is for a Samsung device with model number SM-N960, which does not match any existing smartphone in the OEM range.
This device It is thought that this is nothing but the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and the version spotted on Geekbench is probably the international version of the smartphone.
Galaxy Note 9 Processor
Samsung typically launches its flagships with two different treatment options depending on the market. The new benchmark, dated July 3, lists the upcoming Samsung device with an Exynos 9810 processor, which would correspond to the company's strategy of launching international versions of flagship products with Exynos processors, while that American models are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs.
Snapdragon processors actually power Samsung's flagship ships in the US, Mexico, Canada, and China, while the rest of the world receives Exynos processors. That said, the SM-N960 spotted on Geekbench seems destined for the international market. The difference between the Exynos and Snapdragon processors in the Galaxy Note 9 is unlikely to be perceptible with everyday use
Based on the reference list, the Galaxy Note 9 Exynos octa-core processor is clocked at a base frequency of 1.79 GHz, which is the same as for the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 +.
Galaxy Note 9 RAM
Geekbench still lists the next device with 6GB of RAM, which is not so surprising. On the other hand, recent rumors have indicated that Samsung is also working on two configurations with 8GB RAM
One of these configurations should be paired with 256GB of native storage space, while the other should have a huge 512 GB of internal storage. However, this 8GB of RAM will likely only affect Samsung's home market in South Korea, and possibly China.
Finally, the reference list shows the device with Android 8.1 Oreo on board, a single-core performance of 3.716, a multi-core performance of 8,984.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will debut official next month, August 9, and should go on sale a few weeks later.
