What new emojis are coming? – New technics

Let's face it, when it comes to vacation, some days are more important than others.

We all know the big ones: Christmas. Thanksgiving. The day of independence. Super Bowl Sunday. Taco Tuesday.

But hey, none of those compare to what has been marked by furious tapping of mobile phone keyboards everywhere, from offices to day camps, who knows? Maybe even the White House?

Yes, we celebrated World Emoji Day on Tuesday, July 17th. And yes, there is such a thing.

Apple made the jump on this memorable day when, it showed 70 new emojis that you will soon be able to use to decorate your iPhone messages. Apple said the new emojis will be available later this year in a free software update for all its products.

Among the emojis, you will soon be able to use:
A lobster. No word on whether there is an emoji for butter drawn.
Lettuce. Because you probably do not know this salad when you dig in your lobster, anyway.
Bald heads, red heads and gray heads. We'll just assume that they all like lobster too.

The Unicode Consortium, a non-profit group that manages the world's emoji standards (yes, there's really an organization for emoji standards) has announced plans for new emojis in February. Of course, that was before Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle went crazy on social media publishing their new love story. Maybe the Unicode Consortium, Apple and anyone else in the game emoji may offer the option of a couple emoji to look like Junior Trump and Guilfoyle springing from ################################################################################################ Love in front of the Louvre Museum in Paris?

There are many more emojis coming out to express your feelings and animate your messages. If you can not wait for the arrival of the new emojis, go to the keypad of your phone now. There is probably a cheeseburger, a basketball or an image of flames that sums up your feelings well when old words and the alphabet are not enough. – The San Jose Mercury News Service / Tribune
