Man accused of killing 3 wanted to confront pharmacist brother over Covid vaccine, documents say

A man from Maryland accused of killing his pharmacist brother and two other people had complained that he believed his brother was harming people with the Covid-19 vaccine, court documents show.

Jeffrey Burnham, 46, was arrested on Friday for the murder of his brother, sister-in-law and another woman who were killed in two communities more than 100 miles apart, police said.

Brian Robinette, 58, and Kelly Sue Robinette, 57, were found fatally shot Thursday at their home in Ellicott City, near Baltimore, police said. Rebecca Reynolds, 83, was found dead the day before in Cumberland and her car was stolen, police said.

Burnham, who lives in Cumberland, was arrested in West Virginia on Friday.

He faces multiple counts of murder and is being held without bail in Allegany County, where Cumberland is located, records show.

Online court records did not appear to indicate a lawyer for him on Wednesday night.

Charging documents filed in court do not state an alleged motive for the killings. But they say Burnham’s mother told police he said he wanted to confront his pharmacist brother about the government poisoning people with the Covid-19 vaccine and that Burnham said “Brian knows something” .

Burnham’s mother called the police and said her son was talking about the FBI after them, which worried her about his mental stability, the documents said.

After the murders, Burnham allegedly took his brother’s Corvette and stopped by someone’s house to ask for gas.

There, he told the person that she would see him on television and that his brother was “killing people with the Covid shot”, according to the indictment document. This person called the state police.

Burnham is charged with one count of murder and one charge of vehicle theft in Allegany County, court records online show.

He faces additional murder charges and other charges in Howard County. The prosecution follows the indictment procedure. The Howard County State Attorney’s Office declined to comment on Wednesday as the case is ongoing.

Reynolds was a classmate of Burnham’s mother. When Burnham was arrested in West Virginia, he reported a member of the fire department and said he had killed three people, NBC affiliate WBAL-TV of Baltimore reported, citing state police.
