ORANGE COUNTY, Florida. – A man faces charges after security at Walt Disney World saw him climbing a wall in an attempt to sneak into Magic Kingdom Park, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Johnny Tran, 31, was arrested on May 23 at Walt Disney World.

Investigators said just before noon, Tran did not pay to park in the Disney parking lot. A uniformed security guard stationed at a checkpoint along a walkway leading from the Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom told MPs he saw Tran near the entrance to the bus driver’s rest room. The guard then watched as Tran looked around, then walked over to the berm, which investigators said he climbed into the park.

An undercover security guard who was posted inside the park said, according to the arrest affidavit, that he saw Tran exit through the “actor” door. The guard said he watched Tran enter Tony’s Towne Square restaurant, then immediately returned and took off an overshirt.

The guard said he then contacted Tran and took him to a security office, records show.

When a deputy arrived, Tran was read his Miranda rights and he then asked to speak to a lawyer, according to the affidavit.

Tran faces trespass and petty theft charges for failing to pay for parking or park entrance fees.

Court records show that Tran is due to be arraigned on July 27.
