An ultramarathon runner attempting to walk from Florida to Bermuda in a strange floating device drifted along the coast of Sunshine State on Saturday, according to a report.
Reza Baluchi – and his so-called bubble – which allows him to navigate over water, ventured ashore in Flagler County, Fox 35 reported.
Baluchi attempts the daring sea voyage to raise money for charity and encourage people to pursue their dreams.
“I’ll show people whatever you want to do, do it,” he told the outlet. “Don’t listen to anyone. Follow your dreams.”
Baluchi said his goal was to raise funds for the homeless, the coast guard, and the police and fire departments.
The endurance runner has tried similar water trips in the past.
In 2014, he was rescued by the Coast Guard while attempting to reach Bermuda in a homemade floating “Hydro Pod”. He was then suffering from fatigue.
“I will never give up on my dream,” he told Fox 35. “They stop me four or five times but I never give up.”
