PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – A Providence man has been identified as a suspect in the abduction of a woman in Boston this weekend.

Police released Thursday a photo of Louis D. Coleman III and asked the public for help in locating him, the red car he thought he was driving or the missing woman, Jassy Correia, 23.

Coleman, 32, was last seen in the Providence area on Thursday, police said.

Target 12 has learned that investigators are currently conducting research in the city's jewelery district in connection with Correia's disappearance. Detectives were seen in a condominium complex located at 95 Chestnut Street.

Police said Correia was last seen riding a red car with a man in Tremont and Herald Streets around 12:15 pm Sunday after leaving the Venu nightclub.

Correia stands approximately 5 feet 7 inches and was last seen wearing large earrings, an orange jumpsuit and a denim jacket with a red lip image and pink wings on the back, police said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Correia or Coleman is invited to call 911 immediately or tip an anonymous tip by calling the CrimeStoppers tip line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or by sending the word "TIP" to CRIME (27463).
